We are frequently asked "how often should I shop my insurance?"  For most of our clients it is our policy to "shop" (send out to insurance companies for quotes) their account every three years.  That allows the insurance company to truly get to know your business and for your to get the know the insurance company.  Insurance companies are generally uninterested in price buyers and will often not provide a proposal for businesses who shop annually.  It's like a job resume.  If you change jobs once a year or so, you will be less appealing to a hiring manager than someone with 3-5 years in the same position.  Insurance companies offer the best deals to prospects who have been with their current insurance company three years or greater, have the fewest losses and the best safety programs.

If you are stuck in the rut of shopping every year or your current agent does not have a plan and a process in place to make your business more attractive to insurance companies, The Bramlett Agency may be able to help.  Give me a call at (580) 223-7300 or send me an email at jbramlett@bramlettagency.com.
